The much-anticipated marvel known as Keret House has finally opened in Warsaw, Poland; in an interview with the New York Times last week, architect Jakub Szczesny called the project "a fantastic set of impossibilities." "I fell in love with a space between two buildings from different periods. I decided to make a link," he said about the world's newest narrowest house, which measures about three feet wide at its thinnest point. Amazingly, the home "contains all necessary amenities such as a micro-kitchen, mini-bathroom, sleeping cubicle and tiny work area, all accessible via ladders,' Szczesny recently told Metro UK.
