Adventures in Interior Design: Take a Bite Out of a Big Apple, Literally, in Glam Paris Pad

Here's a Paris home that's got everything a well-heeled urbanite needs: latticed rooftop gardens, a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, a 430-square-foot dining room, a summer kitchen, and, of course, a giant, unexplained apple. Sotheby's lists the 8,073-square-foot pad, which takes over the top three floors of a seven-story residential building on the city's haute Right Bank, as "price upon request," but 1stdibs gives away the secret: the sellers hope the home will go for around $23.85M. Sure, the listing may be missing the chateau feel of some other luxurious Paris properties—like, say, the Versailles-inspired abode that hit the market recently—but that contemporary vibe (again: oversized, glittering fruit) is what bumps the property's swank factor off the charts. Other strange, fancy-pants details? A red-carpeted cinema with a chair that looks like a pair of lips and a large, decorative piece of candy lurking in the sitting room. See it all above.
