Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Santa Monica, Calif.
Price: $12,500,000
The Skinny: In the early 1980s, artist Miriam Wosk—who also created the first Ms. magazine cover—commissioned architect Frank Gehry to design a unique glassy penthouse atop a drab apartment building she owned in Beverly Hills. Known as the Wosk Residence, it was a true collaboration between artist and architect, with Wosk creating designs for the "tile work, stair rails and stained glass." The artist lived in the penthouse until 1998, when a young son prompted a move to this more traditional Mediterranean mansion in Santa Monica. Wosk customized the 7,800-square-foot estate, adding a cavernous studio and personalized touches, like the oh-so-very Gehry-style swooping banisters on the central stair. Wosk passed away in 2010, and now the artsy mansion has been listed for $12.5M.
