House of the Day: Sky-High Apartment Comes with Subterranean Ferrari Garage

Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Chicago, Ill.
Price: $3,500,000
The Skinny: Perched high on the 67th floor of Chicago's Lake Point Tower, this 2,500-square-foot, one-bedroom swanky bachelor pad boasts incredible views of Lake Michigan and the Windy City's skyline, but, with the '70s white-on-white and glass brick interiors, it may have some trouble achieving its $3.4M asking price. That is, of course, if the private, 2,700-square-foot subterranean garage isn't taken into account. That space—which currently houses four Ferraris, a Porsche, and an Austin Healy—has been outfitted as a showroom, complete with bright red floors, Italian leather furniture, auto memorabilia, and, oddly enough, a bar. Despite the lack of windows and the only marginally larger square footage, the garage contributes a healthy portion of the asking price and is available on its own for $2.1M.
