The Feb. issue of WSJ. Magazine features the husband-and-wife duo behind the NYC-based design firm Roman and Williams. Stephen Alesch describes his wife's aesthetic as "primitive, army-meets-camp": "She's got more of a gentleman, high-officer thing. She prevents it from being too heavy or cliché, whereas I keep it from getting too beautiful or gushy." Meanwhile, recalls Robin Standefer, "I was like, How do I find one of those California guys?
