Abandonment Issues: Up in Whittier, Alaska, an abandoned... Feb 12th 2013, 19:45 Up in Whittier, Alaska, an abandoned military building from the Cold War is enjoying a second career starring in ski movies. Apparently professional skiers have long-used the structure as a playground and film set, the latest to do so being Logan Imlach, who recently skied through all five floors of the forsaken Buckner Building.
