Architectural Craziness: Here's a Full Dining Room Set Made From Canned Food Feb 5th 2013, 16:15 Photo via Curbed NY/click to enlarge! As part of this year's Canstruction, a massive hunger-relief drive in NYC, two-dozen teams of architects and designers crafted enormous structures—buildings, statues, furniture, Jeff Koons balloon dogs, the Staten Island Ferris Wheel—from more than 100,000 unopened cans of food. This creation (above), entitled "Room for One More," was the work of the structural engineering firm Weidlinger Associates, who managed to (yet again) turn the humble act of sitting down and eating together into a public work of art.
