LOS ANGELES—Architectural Digest has announced Madeline Stuart as the interior designer behind this year's Oscars greenroom. The space will resemble an Art Deco lounge, with "stepped walls and ceilings, built-in upholstered banquettes, and polished black floors," per the release. "My goal was to design a space where contemporary stars wouldn't be surprised to bump into Cary Grant or Katharine Hepburn," Stuart said in a statement. [CurbedWire Inbox]
EVERYWHERE—Paint and wallpaper retailer Farrow & Ball has devised patterns inspired by the interiors of Downton Abbey. Included: mahogany wallpaper, as well as "soft colors to create a look similar to the bedrooms of Elsie Hughes and John Bates," per the release. [CurbedWire Inbox]
THE INTERNET—The online real estate database Zillow has expanded its footprint with Zillow Digs, a home-improvement section of the site. It's essentially an online inspiration board filled with photos of project "afters," with each undertaking noted with a cost estimate determined by data from local contractors. [CurbedWire Inbox]
