Over in Shizuoka, Japan sits yet another ambitious concrete cantilevered building, this time a single-family, blocky home with idyllic views of tea plantations. Japanese architecture firm mA-style calls the house 'Scope,' presumably because its white jutting box looks vaguely like a telescope. Perched atop two gray blocks, one of which houses the bedrooms, the white trapezoidal structure has two balconies, with windows that line the front and back end. Interestingly enough, the expansive views are reserved for the kitchen area, with the living room sprawling in the back. See more, below.
