On the Market: Twenty Home Sound Studios Worthy of a Grammy Winner
Feb 8th 2013, 20:30

The 2013 Grammy Awards will be handed out this Sunday, and if all that pomp and circumstance inspires someone to record a debut album, there would be few places better to do so than these 20 private recording studios, all of which are currently up for sale. Among the highlights: the Topanga Skyline studio and home where greats like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Sting, T-Bone Burnett, Bobby McFerrin, and Robert Plant have all recorded. After a recent $50K price chop, the historic one-bedroom above the Hollywood Hills has entered contract for close to its $799K asking price. Don't worry, if that one sells, there are still plenty of empty studios awaiting a new musician.
